New Zealand’s National Party Leader was forced to leave an outdoor press conference after he was heckled about his lack of leadership in a tragedy-stricken town.

“I know you are going to be the next Prime Minister, so our communities want to hold you to account,” the man said as Mr Luxon left the area. The Freedoms New Zealand Party was launched by leader Brian Tamaki to be a self-proclaimed “stable common-sense alternative” to the Labor and Nationals parties.
