Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan is reportedly on the brink of a driving ban after allegedly being clocked speeding twice within just over two weeks. The actress, famed for her role as Rosie Webster, is claimed to have failed to inform the police about who was behind the wheel of her Audi Q7 during the incidents in Liverpool on 10 July and again on 26 July.
When quizzed if she saw the notices, she reportedly said: "I think I did," but claimed her hectic life as "a busy working single mum" muddled her memory. Robbie told the court he did reply for Helen, but the response seemingly never reached the police, reports The Sun. In other news, Helen opened up about her longing to return to the cobbles in a heartfelt interview with The Sun, courtesy of WhichBingo. She said: "I would absolutely love to go back to Coronation Street. I live now where I did growing up and I've moved around so much, you know, with my ex, football and stuff, so I'm back."
She credits the soap with shaping her life since childhood: "I was on the show from when I was like nine years old, and then from being age 14, I was all in. I was in the big story lines. I went back when I was about 27 when I just had Matilda, and then I had to leave because I felt pregnant with Delilah after about 18 months. And I enjoyed it."
