The former Coronation Street star spoke in a lengthy chat with her social media followers for the first time about her split with ex-fiancee Scott Sinclair
Helen Flanagan has opened up about the end of her and Scott Sinclair's 'special' relationship which ended after 13 years in the summer of last year.
Helen and Scott share three kids together - Matilda, eight, Charlie two, and Delilah five. They first met Scott was playing football for Birmingham City and Helen was working on ITV soap Corrie aged just 19 years old. Helen continued: "I didn't want to share those things so there's plenty I don't share but there's things I don't and I get a lot of messages about, from other women, with similar situations.
The former Corrie star added: "I remember kind of, shortly after we separated, I made sure - and I think it's really good to have distractions - I did the jungle which I was really grateful for. It was perfect timing, perfect project and a great distraction. I really enjoyed it so I did that. "And also you get a lot of love from your children. If I'm ever feeling a bit low or what have you, my kids, they always make me feel better. But I suppose the downside is, when you need a minute.. if you're feeling a certain way or emotional, you have to put a face on."
