Helen Flanagan shares heartbreaking reason she was forced to quit acting

Helen Flanagan, who last appeared on Coronation Street in 2018, told how she has found it difficult to juggle a career with motherhood - especially since becoming a single mum

The former Coronation Street star, 33, last appeared on the Cobbles as Rosie Webster in 2018 after playing the role off and on since 2000. But the mum of three has told how she has found it difficult to juggle a career with motherhood - especially since splitting from football player ex Scott Sinclair in July 2022 after 13 years together.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: "I would honestly love love love to go back so much but I’m just so busy with the children, so I’ve got an eight year old, five year old and a two year old and because me and their daddy has separated and he lives five hours away with his work, it’s quite difficult with the balance."

Meanwhile, earlier this week Helen revealed she suffered from postnatal depression and OCD as she opened up on her mental health struggles. The actress spoke publicly about how she needed therapy for the conditions in an honest social media post shared on World Mental Health Day.
