Helen Skelton has announced her temporary departure from BBC 's Morning Live , expressing gratitude towards her colleagues on Instagram. She presented her final show for this year on December 20th, which saw Gethin Jones joined by Joanna Page. Morning Live will take a Christmas hiatus after this episode. Helen shared a post with photos and videos, saying, 'Lewks and lols of the last couple of weeks at work. Over and out 2024.' She tagged her co-workers and expressed pride in their work.
She also mentioned looking forward to the festive season and returning in 2025. This announcement follows an episode where guest presenters Kym Marsh and Gordon Smart hosted, with Gethin Jones making a pre-recorded appearance as he is currently starring in a pantomime
