Helen Skelton emotional as Strictly has helped her 'remember who I am' after split SCD
Helen Skelton was left emotional on Friday night as she reflected on her Strictly Come Dancing journey so far.
Speaking about how grateful she was for her parents' support so far on the show, she said: "I had the most idyllic childhood you would wish for your kids. I grew up on a farm on the edge of the Lake District and I’ll never take that upbringing for granted."Helen's parents, Richard and Janet, then appeared on screen as they said: "We’ve always believed, as parents, you should follow your dream.
She continued: "I did Strictly this year because, sometimes, you just need to jump on the opportunity and the chance to put a big smile on your face."
