A Helldivers 2 community manager has seemingly been fired for encouraging fans to leave negative reviews over the PSN controversy.
It’s been a wild month for Helldivers 2 so far. All of the mayhem and uproar online has stemmed from the announcement that Steam users would have to link to PSN, but that has now been reverted thanks to backlash from the community. Unfortunately, it appears there has been some casualties in the battle as a Helldivers 2 community manager has seemingly been fired for ‘representing’ fans in the PSN controversy. The release date and time for the new Polar Patriots Warbond is imminent.
As for why they have seemingly been let go, Spitz posted on Discord, “Generally it’s not a good idea to tell people to refund and leave negative reviews when you’re a community manager”. They also posted the following message thanking fans for their support: “I appreciate all the support and I appreciate even more that everyone can play the game again without restrictions. I knew I was taking a risk with what I said about refunding and changing reviews. I stand by it.
