An existing community manager for Helldivers 2 has acknowledged the 'unfortunate' departure of Spitz following the whole PSN fiasco.
The Helldivers 2 controversy ensuing from the PSN fiasco is coming to an end. Sony has reverted their original plans, the game’s positive reputation on Steam has been restored, and fans can now go back to simply enjoying arguably the best game of the year so far. While these are all positives, a Helldivers 2 community manager has acknowledged the ‘unfortunate’ firing of former community manager, Spitz.

However, since the apparent firing, fans have created a petition anyone can sign imploring Arrowhead to ‘re-hire the legendary community manager’. The fans participating in this petition acknowledge Spitz as an inspiration in encouraging them to make their voices heard in rallying against Sony’s planned PSN requirement.
