The Helldivers 2 devs have announced that they will be reducing the difficulty of a new mission due to it being 'impossible'
It came down to the wire but Helldivers 2 players managed to complete the most difficult Major Order yet, which saw players defend 10 planets across the galaxy. While liberating more planets than we ever have before, some of these missions were the new defense missions that were added earlier this month. This new mission is a breath of fresh air and one of the most fun missions in the game.
At that difficulty I will describe it as challenging but fun, it keeps you on your toes but it is achievable without too much issue if you use the right Stratagems and pay attention to where enemies get dropped. However, on difficulty 8, Impossible, it lives up to its name. With the same team mentioned above, we could only manage to get 4/8 scientists evacuated before the base was overrun and destroyed, no matter how many times we tried this is as far as we could get.
