Helldivers 2 fans have been told not to expect a 'big patch' anytime soon, throwing into doubt that the Illuminate will arrive this month.
Helldivers 2 fans have a lot to anticipate for the future, but right now the game is slowing down. Updates have purposefully slowed down to be better tested, and Arrowhead are also slowing down the releases of warbonds. Unfortunately, for players wanting new content, Helldivers 2 fans have been told not to expect a “big patch” soon thanks to the development team entering “semi-siesta mode”.
This is in relation to Arrowhead developers taking a summer break. The community manager posted the following response: “We won’t be gone for a month. We’re slowing down due to a lot of colleagues going on vacation, but the office will still be open and people working. There almost certainly won’t be a big patch during this period. Minor improvements and/or hotfixes are not ruled out.
