Fans are upset again with a Helldivers 2 patch, as they lay out the changes that need to happen to return the game to its former popularity.
Helldivers 2 fans want fewer nerfs and more buffs One of the biggest hits of 2024 so far, Helldivers 2, has seen its player base shrink from a peak of 450,000 players in one day, six months ago, to just under 50,000 this past Sunday. Part of the decline is natural – people move on to new games – but the other reason seems to be that fans are continuously left unimpressed by weapon nerfs brought on by many of the recent updates from developer Arrowhead Studios.
