Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead Game Studios is celebrating the release of its long-awaited Escalation of Freedom update with a 24-hour livestream event centering on the massive patch. Predictably enough, the event will cover the update’s new content, including new enemy types, environments, and the latest Warbond. But that’s not the only thing you can get by watching.
” It’s currently unclear, though, how long you need to watch to gain access, so you may need to keep the stream running in the background while you drop into a mission. The livestream event itself will take place two days before the public launch of the TR-40 Golden Eagle set, on August 6 at 10 am BST / 2 am PT.
