In a surprising twist, the latest Helldivers 2 Automaton Major Order was completed ahead of the release of the Viper Commandos Warbond.
Helldivers 2 is split between two different enemy types, the Automatons and Terminids, which will soon become three as The Illuminate are set to make their presence known soon. Many players favor the Terminids, which often means that Automaton-focused Major Orders are failed as some players refuse to fight a different enemy type.
Usually it is difficult to get players to switch from the Terminids, perhaps the lure of 45 Medals was too tempting, especially with the new Viper Commandos Warbond right around the corner. Speaking of the Warbond, it is possible that the Major Order is leading players to liberate Meissa next, which is a bright jungle planet, making it perfect for the jungle-themed Viper Commandos. It will be interesting to see if this is the direction that Arrowhead Game is going.
