A special election could cost the state millions
HENRY COUNTY , Ala. - Alabama legislators are the closest they have been to passing a gambling package since 1999.
While he’s all for the people having a say, Henry County Commission Chairman David Money has concerns about the idea of a special election. In addition to the price tag, Money said each county will have to bring back poll workers earlier than expected.
