Henry Winkler still wants to be friends with Macca… Shortly after rocketing to fame playing The Fonz in the 70s-80s TV series Happy Days, Henry Winkler was walking in New York with his wife when he chanced upon one of his biggest heroes. Not only was he in the same vicinity as Paul McCartney, but the Beatle knew who he was! They chatted, and the Liverpudlian gave the Manhattanite his phone number, warmly encouraging him to call. After a few days, Henry rang, and got no answer. So he rang again.
