Firefighters enlisted the help of their station dog to save a woman who was considering killing herself on a motorway bridge.
Devon and Somerset fire and rescue had been called to the scene on the M5 near Exeter alongside other emergency services yesterday. According to an account of the incident posted on Twitter, the cockapoo works as a ‘defusing’ dog and sits with crew members while they receive therapy.
