On a chilly winter's night in Canberra, there was jubilation in the air. A huddle of Julian Assange's faithful supporters waited hours for him in the cold and wept with joy as his plane touched down. Some wore ribbons and flags for the man they see as a hero of free speech. 'I just want to know that he's with his family, his children, because they stole his entire forties from him and now he can heal,' Raine Sinclair told me.
