The road to a 13th Calder Cup runs through Hershey . The Bears hosted the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Wednesday night in Game 1 of the Atlantic Division semifinals. Now, the Bears had the edge on the Phantoms over the regular season with an 8-2-0-2 with a 5-1 record on home ice. The Bears would waste no time getting the scoring started when Hendrix Lapierre scored with less than four minutes of play in the first period. Chase Priskie and Ethen Frank would be credited with assists on the play.
They came at us real hard, they're a real good hockey team and well balanced. Some things we really have to work on and clean up. There were some mental errors that we haven't seen a whole lot during the course of the season, maybe that was from being off for so long.
