A pensioner who was jailed a decade ago for conning friends out of £2.5m has been sent back to prison after defrauding a neighbour out of more than £100,000.
St Albans Crown Court heard Clark befriended a woman in her 70s who had moved to the area after her husband passed away and managed to take £118,000 from her over a two-year period.for taking £2.5m from friends in 2014.In 2018, Clark had fabricated a story about purchasing property in Spain and offered the victim a chance to invest, in exchange for a cut of the interest.
