The Berkshire restaurant promises indulgent dishes with some 'nice surprises'- including classic Christmas-inspired food as well as Blumenthal's famous wacky creations.

While customers will be treated to a range of festive foods, there is no turkey on offer, with the chef instead opting to serve a short rib of beef. It starts with Christmas tipples - made up of nitro-poached aperitifs, snowball, bucks’ fizz and Bristol cream. 'Join us on the fortunes of Christmas, along the way there'll be sprouts, chocolate, guilty pleasures, baubles, mulled wine, indulgence and magical transformations.
It comes after Heston Blumenthal launched a new menu at his famous Fat Duck in Bray, Berkshire in May, but there is an unusual twist - guests have to eat backwards. They are then served the Nitro Aperitif, which would usually be given first, and is made of vodka sour, Paloma and French Martini.
Heston added: 'I found the 'Topsy Turvy' tasting menu gratifyingly gut-friendly and satisfyingly gastronomic.'Eating in reverse might seem a bit wacky - more Duck Fat than Fat Duck, and not so much Willy Wonka as Winky Woolly - but it was a lot of fun and it took my imagination on a fantastic journey of culinary curiosity.'In fact, the world is more topsy-turvy than we think.
