Union Saint-Gilloise manager Alexander Blessin jokingly interrupted Alexis Mac Allister's chat with his brother Kevin, prior to Liverpool's 2-0 win.
The Reds ran out eventual winners thanks to goals from Ryan Gravenberch and Diogo Jota late on. However, it was far from an impressive routine display from the hosts as they needed the Dutchman to capitalise on a mistake from Union SG goalkeeper Anthony Moris, who spilt Trent Alexander-Arnold's strike.
