This hidden-gem beach is lovely to visit during the day - but it's even better as the sun goes down
You can’t beat a good sunset. It never fails to impress watching the sky change colour before your eyes, shifting from vivid blue to peachy-pink, as the sun dips below the horizon.
West Shore Beach is Llandudno doesn’t have the pier, cable car and promenade of the main town, but it does offer the perfect vantage point for watching the sunset. Whereas North Shore Beach faces towards the east, as the name suggests West Shore Beach has unspoilt views facing west so it's perfect to see the sun go down.
The beach is a lovely spot to visit during the day, with golden sand backed by grassy sand dunes, a long promenade and gorgeous views out to sea. There’s a beachside cafe - West Shore Beach Cafe - which serves light bites, sandwiches, cakes and ice cream.
