The Percy Julian Phoenix look to build off of their 5-5 season from a year ago and welcome their new head coach Kenneth White who is no stranger to the program at Percy Julian. White has been a part of the program for the past seven seasons where he began as a position coach and then worked his way up to then serving as the offensive coordinator for the past three season before being promoted to head coach.
“This particular team has a lot more seniors. We’ve got a lot more camaraderie amongst the guys, the chemistry is there and that’s kind of the thing we’re going to be leaning on throughout the season. I think that will be the difference in some of those close ball games that we have,” says White.
