MAYNILA – Sabik at handang-handa na ang higit 400 na manlalaro ng Pilipinas sa darating na 19th Asian Games at 4th Asian Paralympic Games sa Hangzhou, China.

Kasama na rito si 2021 Tokyo Olympics silver medalist Nesthy Petecio na target ding makakuha ng ginto hindi lang sa Asian Games kung 'di sa darating na Paris 2024 Olympics. Hindi rin magpapahuli ang kapwa boxers na sina Eumir Marcial, Carlo Paalam, at John Marvin na nakakuha na ng ilang medalya mula sa iba’t ibang international boxing competitions.

Umaasa naman si Philippine Sports Commission chairman Dickie Bachmann na makapag-uuwi ng mas maraming medalya ang mga pambato ng bansa sa pagbabalik ng Asian Games matapos ma-delay ng isang taon dahil sa pandemya.
