The former presidential nominee used a meme from a hit movie to respond to a sarcastic tweet from the president.
US president Donald Trump and former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton have had plenty of very public spats, but their latest row is arguably their most bizarre.
"' Hillary Clinton confirms she will not run in 2020, rules out a third bid for White House.' Aw-shucks, does that mean I won’t get to run against her again? She will be sorely missed!," he wrote, using his usual derogatory moniker for Mrs Clinton in reference to her closeness with Wall Street and her email controversy.
The clip shows Regina George, played by Rachel McAdams in the movie, asking"why are you so obsessed with me?".
