Charity HIV Scotland has sadly announced that after 30 years that will be closing its doors due to a 'number of significant challenges'
An HIV charity which has supported thousands of Scots with the virus for nearly three decades is set to shut its doors.
This has included ‘some recent changes within the organisation’s governance which have caused concern’. The statement from the charity’s board said: ‘For almost 30 years, HIV Scotland has supported thousands of people to live with HIV and thrive. ‘However, due to a number of significant challenges, the board has taken the incredibly difficult decision to wind-up the charity.
