PHILADELPHIA — Eddie Holland III had 16 points and led five players into double-figure scoring in Pennsylvania’s 102-57 victory over Division III-member John Jay in the season opener on Monday night.Holland also contributed five rebounds for the Quakers . Tyler Perkins scored 15 points while shooting 5 for 12 and 4 of 4 from the free throw line, and added six rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Clark Slajchert shot 5 for 9 and 1 of 3 from the free throw line to finish with 14 points.
Jamir Stewart led the way for the Bloodhounds with 12 points. Isaac Holmes added 12 points and two blocks for John Jay. In addition, Marquise Paulin had 10 points.
