The ITV presenter said it has been a 'difficult year' but thanked loyal fans for continuing to 'rally around' the ITV show.
ITV presenter Holly Willoughby addressed the toxic workplace claims at This Morning as she opened up on it being a "difficult year for everybody" during her red carpet appearance at the National Television Awards on Tuesday night.
Bosses at ITV had reportedly been concerned about losing out on the prestigious award and the reception the cast would get following Phillip Schofield's sensational exit from the programme earlier this year. After the furore, various people who had worked on the series in the past claimed there is a 'toxic' working environment behind the scenes, including bullying and discrimination.
Ranj said that he was "managed out" of the ITV show after he attempted to raise his concerns with bosses and was repeatedly ignored.
