The popular presenter said 'I will not be returning to the show', as she thanked fans for their support
TV presenter Holly Willoughby has left her daytime television role at This Morning , after 14 years presenting the show. The 42 year old was placed on 'indefinite leave' last week after police uncovered an alleged kidnap and murder plot against her, leading to a man being charged. After being absent from the show since last Thursday, Holly has today told fans on social media she will never return.
In her resignation statement today, Holly went on to thank viewers and said she needed to make the decision for the sake of her family. She added: 'Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive. 'To every guest who has sat on our sofa, thank you. Most of all, thank you to the wonderful viewers. 'You've been loyal, so supportive and the very best company every day. 'Richard and Judy said, 'We only look after this show, it will always belong to the viewers.
