The This Morning star confirmed the news on Instagram
"I am so terribly sorry to hear of Sandra's passing. I had such a memorable conversation with her. She exuded wisdom kindness and warmth. Sending love to you Dan and the whole family," replied Holly's This Morning co-star, Vanessa Feltz.
Holly's colleague Craig Doyle also responded, writing: "I am so sorry for your loss Holly. Condolences to Dan and all the family."Holly, 42, has been married to her husband Dan Baldwin since 2007. Together they share three children – Sons Harry and Chester, and daughter Belle. Over the years, Holly has often spoken about her close relationship with Dan's mother Sandra, who she described as a "lovely Italian lady.", Holly opened up about her first meeting with Sandra, who she quickly learned was an extremely talented cook. "When we first met, she cooked me this amazing meal," Holly recalled.
"It took me a long time to cook for her in return because she is just so good. When I did, I made a huge mistake. I went into the garden to get some herbs for the dinner but instead of picking the right herb, I put lavender in the dish!"
