Holly was last seen on This Morning on July 6
The 42-year-old has taken an extended break from the popular daytime show, with her last seen in the studio back on July 6. Since then, she has been replaced by members of "the This Morning family", including Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson, Rochelle Humes and Andi Peters.
While it is not unusual for Holly to take some time off over the summer months, in previous years she has signed off her final show with an official goodbye. However this time, she made no mention of the break.Holly will return today , but not in a presenting role. The mum-of-three has bagged a role in Midsomer Murders and she'll appear on This Morning to be interviewed about it.
Holly will play the "Queen of Daytime Telly" in the ITV drama which sees various murder cases across small villages. A clip shown on GMB earlier this week saw Holly sitting on what appeared to be a throne. DS Jamie Winter asked: "Is that the Queen of Daytime?" before DCI John Barnaby replied: "Gloria Hunniford? Are you sure?"
A post on This Morning's official Instagram told viewers that Holly would be taking them "behind the scenes" of her Midsomer Murders experience during Friday's show.
