Holly Willoughby opened up on the Phillip Schofield scandal as she returned to This Morning. Holly spoke of feeling shaken and worried as she thanked fans for their support and vowed the show would return to being a "family".
ITV later confirmed it had investigated rumours of an affair involving Phillip and the junior worker in 2020 but did not find any evidence of a relationship "beyond hearsay and rumour". "That is a lot to process. And it's equally hard to see the toll that it's taken on their own mental health. I think what unites us all now is a desire to heal for the health and wellbeing of everyone.
