Former Hollyoaks actor Gerard McCarthy calls AJ and Curtis Pritchard's acting on the Channel4 show a 'car crash'
Former Hollyoaks actor Gerard McCarthy has slammed AJ and Curtis Pritchard for their “car crash” acting on the show.
He continued: “It’s a simple idea: stop giving actors’ jobs to models / reality tv contestants / pop stars from 1995 / Crufts winners / anybody else who is not an actor. THEY WILL BE S***E!” Gerard played Kris from 2006 to 2010, before returning to the programme as part of their writing team in 2016. It was announced that the pair, who are both ballroom dancers, would be joining the cast back in February, and last week they made their debut to mixed reactions from viewers.
