Hollyoaks actor Hannah Tointon joined the soap in 2007 as Katy Fox, however, the star has since gone on to explore different roles - but what do we know about her personal life
Hannah Tointon is probably best known for playing the role of Katy Fox in the E4 soap, Hollyoaks. The actor portrayed the character on and off for 10 years before finally saying goodbye to the show in 2017, when it was revealed that Katy had tragically passed away from a drug overdose.
Kara has also starred in plenty of other shows and productions, including the ITV live production of The Sound of Music Live, The Bill, and even recorded her own documentary about her journey with dyslexia: Kara Tointon: Don't Call Me Stupid. After clearly forming a connection during their time together on the show, Kara and Joe took their romance to the next level in 2012 and moved in together.
"My sister's just had her first. What's funny is that on Joe's side there's only boys, even during the scan they accidentally said he at one point, so they'd gone along thinking it's a boy," she said at the time.
