, a movie adaptation of a 1980s television series featuring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. The bridge was closed for all vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists in both both directions from 3am to 10am.
However rain has seemed to have halted filming in the past half hour. It's unclear if that will affect the re-opening times or not.Filming for a Hollywood blockbuster has led to major traffic changes this morning, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge closing for several hours.Gosling, or his stunt double, was captured in exclusive images riding at the back of vehicles on the bridge.The Cahill Expressway Circular Quay Overpass will close from 1am to 12.
Transport for NSW Acting Deputy Secretary Howard Collins urged people to consider taking a train if they needed to travel this morning."It is great to see our iconic infrastructure on the global stage but we do urge motorists to avoid the area or postpone travel until after 10am if possible," he said.
"Buses will terminate either side of the SHB in the Sydney CBD and North Sydney from 3am to 10am. Customers can catch trains to continue their trips."Continue reading
