Several A-list celebrities graced the red carpet at the 2025 New York Film Critics Circle Awards on Wednesday, despite the devastating wildfires affecting Los Angeles. Hollywood has largely shut down due to the catastrophic blazes, with the Critics Choice Awards postponed for two weeks and the Oscar Nominations moved to January 19. However, stars still attended the annual Film Critics Circle Awards held at TAO Downtown in New York City.
Adrien Brody, 51, a prominent actor, attended the prestigious event with his girlfriend, Georgina Chapman, 48. Brody, known for his role in 'The Brutalist,' sported a classic black tuxedo with a black sweater underneath. Chapman, the former wife of disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein and a Marchesa designer, shimmered in a metallic silver gown. The Film Critics Circle Awards recognize excellence in filmmaking across various categories, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and more. Brody was awarded Best Actor for his performance in 'The Brutalist,' a film chronicling the journey of a Hungarian Jewish architect who escapes to America after the Holocaust. The movie also received the Best Film award at the event. Other notable attendees included Claire Danes, 45, known for her role in 'Homeland,' who debuted a new dark brown hair color, and Kieran Culkin, 42, famous for his performance in 'Succession,' who looked sharp in a metallic purple suit
