Former Home and Away star Jai Evans has died after being found at his home in Sydney. The TV actor, who also worked in PR, was just 43 years old at the time of his death
Evans, who was known for his role in the iconic 90s soap Home and Away, later built a successful career in public relations, working with cast members of Married At First Sight. His death was announced on Friday, at the age of 43.
Evans was last seen in public a month ago at a celebrity event with reality stars. Friends of the former TV actor have expressed their shock over his death. Sydney police confirmed the sad news, stating: "Officers from Kings Cross Police Area Command will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner regarding the death of a 43-year-old man at a unit in Darlinghurst on 4 September 2024. Police will not be making any further comment about the matter."
He established Evans Media in 2005 at the age of 24, providing media firms and personalities with professional PR guidance and event management consultancy. Over two decades, Jai became noted for his contributions to the industry.
