The store has published a number of product recalls and has urged people not to use the items
Shoppers are being urged 'not to use' a number of products bought in Home Bargains due to a number of safety reasons. On its website there are currently eight active product recall warnings. Shoppers are being urged to return the items immediately to get a full refund. When a product is recalled , for any reason, the FSA shares details on what you should do if you have bought the item, as well as detailed information on why the item has been pulled from sale.
Convector Heater with Turbo and Timer Affected batch codes: 596131/596133/596140/596141/596147/596148. TJ Morris Ltd is recalling Convector Heater with Turbo and Timer sold through Home Bargains and Quality Save stores, between 1st November 2023 and 12th December 2023 due to risk of overheating and fire due to an incorrect fuse size in some heaters. What you should do: If you have bought the heater as detailed above DO NOT USE IT. Instead: Check if you have bought the affected batch codes. Only these codes are affected. The information can be found on the side of the heater close to the control panel.
