Home Secretary says 'thoughts are with the victim' after Home Office staff member knifed in 'unprovoked attack'
Armed police are at the scene and a cordon has been put in place, after it is reported the victim headed into the building for help.Witnesses reported seeing bloody tissues in the entrance hall.There are unconfirmed reports that the victim was a member of Home Office staff.Police initially said the man had been left with life-threatening injuries but have since confirmed his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
