Colin, who has been living rough since he was a teen, said: ‘I was walking about and trying to get money for somewhere to stay for the night.‘I walked up to this group and the guy said he had no change, he only had his card. ‘I jokingly said ‘I take card’ and when I went to walk away the guy told me to I could take his card and get some money, if I promised to come back. He said to take out £10 for myself and £10 for him.‘I got a receipt as well and when I came back he asked what it was for. I said “to prove that’s all I took”.’‘It meant I had a shelter for the night,’ he said. ‘I have had a really horrible time, so it is nice for someone to do something like this.
