A gang chased the homeless man down the street in Cleethorpes a few days before his tent was torched The man, known as Anthony, was thought to be sleeping in it when it was torched, destroying all of his possessions.
He was planning to move away from Cleethorpes promenade, Lincolnshire, fearing something like this may happen.Locals are now trying toResident Aaron Goss said he was driving along the promenade when he saw Anthony ‘stood staring at what was once his everything’. ‘It was not a good feeling,’ he added.
He appealed for help on Facebook, saying it didn’t matter what people’s views on homelessness were, this was about ‘humanity, to our fellow man’ at Christmas.
