Mrs. Hanna Krause’s Homemade Candy shop, a Bergen County staple since 1959, will be closing its location on Route 17 in Paramus on June 28, according to the company’s
Owner Karen Ryan, daughter of the shop founders Ingrid and Karl Krause, has decided to retire and close the family business, the shop workers said. Hanna Krause’s candy shop was well-liked by the surrounding communities, and employees like Kattowski will greatly miss working at the business, she said.
