ARLINGTON, Texas -- Michael Conforto hit a tiebreaking two-run homer in the seventh inning, Wilmer Flores went deep twice for his first multihomer game of the season and the San Francisco Giants beat the Texas Rangers 5-2 on Friday night.Logan Webb won for the first time in four starts after allowing two runs and five hits with six strikeouts and no walks over seven innings while throwing 94 pitches.
Flores had a chance to extend a 2-0 lead in the fifth, batting with the bases loaded and two outs. But Texas' Jonathan Hernández, who relieved starter Michael Lorenzen one batter earlier and struck out Jorge Soler, got Flores to chase an 0-2 slider low and outside for strike three to end the threat.
