Scottish Water said engineers worked through the night to restore supply to properties in the Shawlands and Strathbungo areas of Glasgow.
Homes and shops have been left without water overnight while some streets remain flooded after a water mains burst in the south side of Glasgow.
Scottish Water said engineers and emergency teams had worked through the night and expected to have repairs completed by 10:00 on Sunday.Road users and the public were advised to avoid the area.
