Dexter and Greg Grimsley were two of the most iconic basketball players to ever come through Abbeville High School. Combined the brothers were All-State and All-Tournament eight times and part of a seven year championship run with the Yellow Jackets. Greg attended the University of North Alabama after playing for Pensacola Junior College where he won a state championship in his first year. As a lion, he led the team in blocked shots, rebounds and scoring. He was a two time 4A player of the year two time Super 5 player.
Dexter attended Northwestern State where he ranks top of the blocked shots, scoring, rebounds and steals list. That came after he averaged 18 points and 13 rebounds as a Yellow Jacket.
