Joan Mir says a 'different concept' tried at the Jerez MotoGP test is "the direction I want to take for the future".
The lack of visible changes compared to his standard machine meant many suspected a revised engine was the key change for the ‘different concept’.
While providing few details, the Spaniard believes the concept used is “the direction I want to take for the future.” However, Mir warned the turning came at the cost of performance in other areas and that the ‘concept’ is very much for the future, not the present.
