A second set of EVs will be revealed in the coming months, completing the six-car line-up
Honda has unveiled a new series of electric cars, three of which will be displayed publicly at the Beijing motor show next week. The all-new model range, which consists of six EVs, is named the ‘Ye Series’, and will include a sleek saloon concept and two mid-sized crossovers. . All six models are due to go on sale in the Chinese market by 2027. The Ye P7 and Ye S7 are the first series models to be unveiled, based on a new EV platform.
The P7 and S7 are both due to go on sale in China by the end of 2024. The third car revealed as part of the ‘first wave’ is the Ye GT concept: a low-slung electric saloon with a “race driver” driving position and “dynamic performance”. A new windscreen, Honda says, offers a wide view of the road, as if looking into a large digital screen. Honda did not detail any powertrain details for the GT Concept but added a production model will go on sale before the end of 2025.
