Nonstop flights will run once per day on Fridays and Sundays starting June 28 and running through the 2024-25 winter season.
The expansion is meant to help travelers “maximize their time in New Mexico’s scenic Enchanted Circle with less time in transit & more time exploring the beautiful high desert locale,” the company said in a statement.JSX is the only publicly accessible carrier with direct service to Taos from Dallas, Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport and Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield, Colo.
Increased service to Taos is the latest expansion for Dallas-based JSX, which markets itself as a “hop-on jet service” that uses 30-seat charter planes to shuttle passengers between secondary airports across the country. Travelers can check in just 20 minutes before departure and board in dedicated JSX hangars with looser security, allowing them to bypass long queues or the TSA’s stricter requirements for what is permitted onboard.
