The older generation didn't have a lot of foreign influences on their lives - and grew up mostly just with local education and culture.When I came out to my friends, it was at a time when my mental health was getting better in a way. In my view, this new law will make LGBTQ+ youths even more frightened to be open with themselves, which could really harm their mental health.
