The wind can be heard howling past the windows as gusts of up to 100 mph hit LA, causing the fire to spread rapidly. It is unclear why the pair decided to stay at the house despite the imminent danger. The clip begins by showing the next-door home completely ablaze. When they eventually escape, embers are flying through the air, and trees in the neighborhood have caught fire. A state of emergency has been issued by Mayor Karen Bass, with President Joe Biden offering federal support. The area is home to many celebrities, including Ben Affleck, Tom Hanks, and Steven Spielberg. The Palisades Fire has spread over 3,000 acres, driven by 100 mph gusts, reaching neighboring celebrity hotspots like Malibu.
